Jon Locker is a musician/producer living
in Des Moines, Ia that has done projects big and small all around the
United States. As an
Elixir
Strings endorsee, Jon is a bass player that has toured the country
playing to crowds from 30 to 15,000. He has played in almost any
situation including opening for acts like Bon Jovi, Styx, Huey Lewis &
The News, O.A.R., Big Head Todd & The Monsters, The Gin Blossoms,
etc... Jon has played in Vegas with Dana Carvey, and helped
co-produce a song for him. Jon's bass playing can also be heard
on videos for companies like HP,
Adobe,
Netflix, and
Iowa Public Television.
Jon Locker's talents don't stop with music. He has created
commercials for companies like Templeton Rye and Casey's General
Stores. Jon is co-owner of The Sonic Factory Recording Studio in
Des Moines, IA. In the studio, Jon has produced Records and
Demos for about 30 bands and counting. Recently Jon has had to
opportunity to work on feature films being shot in Des Moines (Janie
Jones, South Dakota).
